About

Shift Chapel Hill-Carrboro is a nonprofit organization established in May 2025 to advocate for safe and convenient active transit options in Chapel Hill and Carrboro.

Shift is building on the momentum from two legacy organizations, the Bicycle Alliance of Chapel Hill (BACH) and the Carrboro Bicycle Coalition (CBC), to bring local walking and biking enthusiasts together.
